11.12.19 #30Days

I’m grateful for a son who observed his stepfather long enough to know that when Mom is home, sick on the couch, the kindest thing he can do is send a text on his way to the house.

Does the sick momma need anything from the store?

He arrived bearing gifts of medicine, chicken soup, crackers, and ginger ale.

And I’m grateful. Hoping tomorrow is a better day.

  1. I’m sorry you’re not feeling good, Beth. But it’s wonderful, isn’t it? that expressions of gratefulness can be very short and succinct. And still just as genuine.

    Get some rest.
